CURBED's Jenny Xie shares an unconventionally round home that was designed to better accommodate its smallest inhabitants: the family's dogs.

Located in a Dutch forest, the 915-square-foot house, dubbed Villa 360, was designed with a glass-walled, circular plan that affords the homeowners a clear a view of their pets from any room. Plus, continuous cantilevering provides shelter and shading for the dogs.

A section of the garden facing the bedroom and kitchen comes halfway up the facade of the building, meaning the couple can maintain the same eye-level as the dogs when they’re playing outside. Inside, the home features an open plan with contemporary furnishings, a built-in skylight and storage, and glass walls.
