Recycling has always been a key feature of terrazzo surfaces, traditionally utilizing marble chips. But EnviroGlas Terrazzo uses 100 percent post-consumer and post-industrial recycled glass blended with a pigmented epoxy resin base to create color-customized terrazzo floors, countertops, and other surfaces that are naturally chemical- and bacteria-resistant and produce no VOC off-gasses. Color variations and customization of the product are limitless; customers choose a paint color, the manufacturer supplies the desired paint chip number, and EnviroGlas will match the base color of the epoxy. The recycled glass chips are available in several types and colors, including clear, flint, mirrored, tinted plate, blue, green, amber, and mixtures.
